GreenBay GB-WTDC 150 - Tractor-mounted garden shredder - High discharge

The GreenBay GB-WTDC 150 garden shredder is a semi-professional cardan chipper. This model is recommended for shredding large quantities of vegetable waste such as all residuals deriving from the cleaning, pruning and maintenance of green areas or vegetable gardens.

The rotor consists of 4 interchangeable blades and a counter-blade.

With a great value for money, this machine is suitable for shredding large quantities of vegetable waste.

The shredder is equipped with a large 60x60 cm hopper, which allows facilitating the processing of waste branches and wood residuals, resulting in the possibility of shredding woods with a maximum diameter of 150 mm.

This machinery is very easy to use and maintain, also thanks to the possibility to close the storage hopper is simple and efficient, greatly reducing the space occupied.

It equipped with 3-point hitch of the tractor + PTO for the drive.

Warning: Like all wood chippers and garden shredders, it is not suited for shredding grass, leaves, pine needles, etc. (it is intended to shred branches, but it can also grind leaves, needles and others)

NOT SUITABLE FOR SMALL AND WEAK BRANCHES, ESPECIALLY FOR OLIVE TREE BRANCHES!

Shredders intended use:
- The shredder must grind only green branches and not dried ones (which would limit its shredding capacity and lead to rapid deterioration of the blades);
- The branches must be preferably long, smooth and not knobby (otherwise the cutting diameter would be reduced);
- The branch cutting diameter indicated is the maximum, so it is advised not to shred larger branches. In this case it would be better to purchase a shredder with a larger branch cutting diameter;
- The cutting diameter can vary according to the amounts of wood (e.g: oak, olive, plum and peach are hardwoods and can reduce the cutting capacity of the wood chipper)

The cutting system consists of
- No. 4 large and thick cutting blades, which are mounted on a swivelling steel plate located at the end of the hopper.

Equipped with large and sturdy shredding chamber. It features a rounded shape that ensures great productivity and long durability of the cutting system.

The counter-blade is mounted directly on the outer side of the grinding chamber.

WARNING

Warning: Before starting the machine, make sure to adjust the counter-blade by means of the specific bolts in order to avoid damaging the rotor.

Large steel hopper with 60x60 cm opening.

The machine is able to process even very bulky branches and leaves, without having to pre-shred them.

Thus, it also features a higher capacity that allows entering large volumes of material at a time.

You can quickly open the hopper by turning it on two hinges for quick access to the rotor in case of jam event.

The hopper stops in the inspection position thanks to a spacial hook located in the hopper housing.

WARNING

Warning: All the inspections and checks must be carried out only when the machine is stopped.
Carefully read the instructions manual before starting the unit.

Provided with 360° rotating discharge chute.

You’ll just need to simply press the lever and rotate it in the desired position.

The inclination of the discharge chute is also adjustable as to control the distance of the shredded material. Indeed, you will just need to adjust the chain depending on the Operator’s needs.

Focus on the rubber flaps placed at the entrance of the hopper.

Tractor PTO hitch, which allows operating the shredder (focus on the PTO cover).

3 Point Hitch

Supporting hook that allows lifting the equipment located on the upper side of the machine.

The standard-supplied cardan shaft is equipped with safety bolt.

The torque limiter with safety bolt allows avoiding damage to the mechanical parts of the machine while operated in case of over-stress and unforeseen torque. Indeed, when the torque exceeds the power bearable by the bolt, the latter breaks off and the transmitted power will be reset. You will need to replace the bolt with one of the same resistance, diameter, length and thread in order to reactivate the transmission.
