GeoTech SC 1600 E electri lawn scarifier

The GeoTech SC 1600 E lawn scarifier is the ideal choice for hobby use on small-sized lawns.

The machine is provided with a 38 cm working width thanks to the 10 stainless steel fixed double blades (20 in total) which ensure reliability and sturdiness.

The machine is also equipped with a rotor with springs (22 springs), which can be replaced easily in a very short time using the Allen key with which the machine is equipped.

It is therefore a very versatile tool, which can operate both as a scarifier and raker.

This model is equipped with a 30 L collection bag.

WARNING:

Before the aeration process the garden MUST BE STRICTLY abundantly watered, in order to prevent dust from entering inside the electric motor and cause damage. Furthermore, damp soil is much softer and facilitates this type of work, preventing problems with the transmission (belts, pulleys, etc.)

* The right time for this operation is Spring, after the first mowing and depending on the area and climate (generally around March/April). For a perfect lawn care, it is highly recommended to repeat the operation in Autumn as well, thus removing the harder moss.

Dual rotor type

This lawn scarifier is equipped with 2 different types of rotors, easily interchangeable.

Rotor with springs: recommended for the “aeration process”, it consists of a sturdy roller fitted with 22 springs.

With this rotor, the turf is combed lightly thanks to its steel spring design, which pinches and pulls away the felt and moss (also preventing regrowth).

Rotor with blades: recommended for the “scarifying process”. It consists of a steel roller with 10 fixed double blades (20 blades total).

This rotor type allows a more intensive lawn care thanks to the possibility to work the soil in depth. Indeed, the 20 sharpened blades penetrate vertically the lawn allowing the complete removal of moss, felt and weeds.
This feature ensures a lawn that is regenerated enhancing its oxygenation, drainage and uptake of nutrients.

Quick rotor replacement system:

Remove the bolt of the rotor unit
Remove the rotor
Replace the rotor by positioning the bearing in the proper housing
Screw the bolt of the rotor unit

Controls, adjustable working height and other features

Possibility to work without rear collection bag, thanks to the proper deflector that crushes aeration debris on the ground.

Equipped with 130 mm front wheels and 150 mm rear wheels.

The electric motor powered by electric cable is highly powerful thanks to its 1600W.

Thanks to the working depth adjustment knob it is possible to adjust the working height in different positions. During transport, it is advisable to set the knob to high position to facilitate movement. Focus on the transport handle for easy storage of the equipment.
