The GeoTech PRO PCS 30 ES bio-wood chipper or chipper is specifically designed for shredding branches and small-diameter logs. Ideal for anyone who needs to maintain green spaces and quickly remove and grind biodegradable waste from the ground.

The PCS 30ES is equipped with modern electrical safety devices that comply with CE standards.

The strengths of this machine are:

robustness thanks to the solid steel rotor system, which is practically everlasting.
cutting diameter (up to 60 mm on green, not dry wood)
unique inspectable hopper: the only electric shredder with a hopper that opens, allowing for easy removal of clogged material and greatly facilitating inspections.

Limitations: the final size of the wood chips is larger than average due to the lack of centrifugal hammers.

A 16 A slow-blow fuse with separate cable and socket must be installed.

NOT SUITABLE FOR SMALL BRANCHES WITH LEAVES, ESPECIALLY OLIVE BRANCHES!

Warning: Like all shredders and wood chippers, it is not suitable for shredding grass, leaves, pine needles, etc. (it is designed to shred branches, but can also shred leaves, needles and other vegetation attached to them)

Main requirements for use for all shredders on the market:
- The shredder must grind branches that have been recently cut from the tree and are not dry (dry branches would limit its shredding and cause rapid deterioration of the blades).
- The branches should preferably be long, regular in shape and not knotty (otherwise the cutting diameter is reduced);
- The stated cutting diameter is the maximum, so it is the exception rather than the rule. In this case, consider purchasing a shredder with a larger cutting diameter;
- The cutting diameter may vary depending on the consistency of the wood (for example, oak, olive, plum and peach are very hard woods and can reduce the cutting capacity of shredders)

Unified hopper

Steel hopper capable of receiving even very bulky branches and foliage without to pre-shred.

UNIFIED HOPPER:

greatly simplifies and speeds up the work.
It eliminates the constant task of sorting (before grinding) the material into large, woody sections and smaller, green sections, each of which must be placed in its own hopper (a task required by all classic shredders equipped with two hoppers)

SELF-FEEDING:

once the branches are placed in the hopper, it tends to pull them in by itself. This is possible thanks to the hopper, which is designed to be almost vertical. Assisted by gravity, the mechanism is able to pull in the branches to be shredded.

PLEASE NOTE: the branches must not be too voluminous, as this could limit functionality.

Shredding system with 2 blades and counter-blade

2 large, thick cutting blades mounted on a rotating steel roller.

The double blade system is completed by the counter-blade in the shredding chamber.

This produces high-quality wood chips with an hourly output ranging from 2.5 to 4 mc/h

The rotor is solid and sturdy, made entirely of steel.

Intermediate belt drive with reinforced belt

REINFORCED BELT INTERMEDIATE TRANSMISSION.

This transmission gives the machine exceptional sturdiness, protecting both the motor and the internal shredding rotor from any type of internal impact or kickback.

High-quality single-phase electric motor with 3 HP of power, ensuring perfect shredding of wood chips.

In the event of rotor blockage caused, for example, by too large pieces of wood, stones, etc., there is no risk of breaking the drive shaft and thus ruining the motor; instead, there will be slippage or, at most, breakage of the intermediate belt.

Much longer life than traditional systems still used by all manufacturers with combustion engines directly connected to the shredding apparatus.
