The GeoTech M50-160 MSW is a lawn mower equipped with a 51 cm cutting blade, specifically designed for mulching and side discharge cutting system.

It is a greatly appreciated product designed for the mulching cutting system and to mow medium-sized lawns.

It is powered by the 161 cc GeoTech engine mounted on the large steel housing.

The blade mounted on the lawn mower is made of universal hardened steel, suitable for mulching cutting system.

Cutting systems

MULCHING CUTTING SYSTEM: this system allows cutting grass without catching it inside the collector, and crushing the clippings into a fine powder before dropping them on the lawn.
As this cutting tool has been specifically designed for this type of cutting system it ensures higher performance then a multi-tool lawn mower.

WHAT IS MULCHING: This grass mowing system allows crushing grass clippings and dropping them on the ground. The resulting grass particles are so small, they will be barely noticeable on the lawn. This eliminates the problem of its disposal (reducing any effort and shortening the time-saving). Moreover, grass clippings will break down into nutrients and water for the lawn and will thus ensure a perfectly balanced biological cycle.

SIDE DISCHARGE CUTTING SYSTEM: the most traditional among the cutting systems. This system is recommended especially for those who have to cut over-grown grass, for which the mulching is no longer efficient.

MULCHING-SIDE DISCHARGE CONVERSION:

Enter the deflector and allow it to lower to engage the side discharge cutting system.

Cutting height adjustment system

The GeoTech lawn mower is equipped with 5 cutting height adjustments from 25 mm to 75 mm.

It is possible to adjust the cutting height by means the centralised lever placed behind one of the rear wheels of the lawn mower. This lever adjusts the height of all the 4 wheels at the same time.

Instructions for Use for Our Customers

The lawn mower is designed and intended exclusively for cutting grass in garden areas (and not on other types of terrain). The surface must be level, free from irregularities, stones, or other solid objects, and covered with maintained lawn grass (therefore, not uncultivated or spontaneous vegetation). Grass should be cut regularly and must not be allowed to grow beyond 25–30 cm, as most lawn mowers are no longer capable of cutting at this height. Slopes exceeding 15% (equivalent to 9°) must be avoided, except when using 4x4 models.

For heavier-duty tasks involving spontaneous vegetation, grass taller than the above-mentioned limits, or rougher surfaces than a garden, please consider alternative product categories such as Petrol Flail Mowers or Brush Cutters.

Furthermore, grass must only be cut when both the lawn and the underlying soil are completely dry. Mowing should be carried out exclusively in dry weather, well away from periods of rain or irrigation, and preferably in the afternoon, when the grass is no longer affected by morning humidity. Wet grass tends to bend under the blades, which reduces cutting efficiency, increases the risk of clogging inside the deck, and subjects the engine to excessive strain.
