GeoTech DH 3000 hot air generator

The GeoTech DH 3000 hot air generator is a direct-heating device fuelled by diesel or kerosene, equipped with a trolley for transport.

Designed for open spaces or well-ventilated interiors, it has a robust steel body, suitable for outdoor use. Please read the instruction manual carefully in this regard.

With an output of 30 kW and an air flow rate of 750 m3/h, it ensures an efficient flow of warm air. It has a fuel consumption of 2.4 kg/h and a range of about 14 hours. These technical specifications make the GeoTech DH 3000 hot air generator a very high-performance and satisfying semi-professional product.

The digital display shows the set temperature and the current room temperature, thanks to the built-in room thermostat. The generator is activated when the room temperature is below the set value, which can be adjusted via a dedicated knob. The device will switch off or reduce the heating once the desired temperature has been reached.

The GeoTech DH 3000 hot air generator is easy to transport thanks to its two wheels and convenient handle that can be easily installed with the screws provided.

It is quick and easy to maintain, and allows various rooms to be heated quickly.

How to select the ideal hot air generator

Important features that the Operator has to consider in order to choose the ideal gas heater which best suits his requirements according to the room that has to be heated up:

  • Dimensions of the area that has to be heated up [V]
  • The ideal temperature [ΔT] that has to be reached
  • Room thermal insulation [K]

High thermal insulation: k = 1

Medium levels thermal insulation: k = 2

Low levels thermal insulation: k = 3

No thermal insulation: k = 4

Therefore, the heat requirements can also be calculated by using the following formula:

V x ΔT x K [kcal/h]

For example:

V = width 4 m width, 12 m length, 3 m height, room volume = 144 m³

ΔT = outdoor temperature -5ºC, room required temperature +18ºC, room temperature = 23ºC

K = 4 not-insulated room

The result is therefore 144 x 23 x 4 = 13 248 kcal/h and should be compared with what is stated on the machine's label, which is suitable as it produces more heat than would be required.

Converting to KW is simple, just multiply the result by 0.001163, so 13248 x 0.001163 = 15.4 KW
