The GeoTech BACP100-8-2 air compressor is an efficient, belt-driven machine for hobby use.

Powered by a 2.0 Hp electric motor, this air compressor features a compressed air suction capacity of 250 L. It is capable of reaching a maximum pressure of 8 bar.

It comes with a large 100 L compressed air storage tank. The weight of the air compressor is about 55 Kg, but has both rear wheels and a pivoting front wheel that allows to easily transport the air compressor without lifting it. Also equipped with an upper handle that further facilitates transportation.

The induction motor is characterised by a very long service life and low maintenance requirements.

This motor is in fact brushless, the brushes being the main component subject to wear in electric motors. The absence of this component grants high durability to the motor.

It is a top product in terms of reliability, low noise, durability, energy efficiency and maintenance.

The degree of professionalism and more generally the life of the air compressor is largely determined by the number of revolutions per minute of the cylinder head.

The lower the rpm, the longer the life of the air compressor. The reduction ratio of the number of revolutions is obtained by the pulleys of different diameter that are fitted to the motor and to the cylinder head respectively.

The pumping unit is equipped with portholes for oil control

Focus on the side cooling manifold, it keeps the compressed air outlet temperature low.

Belt drive

These air compressors feature a belt drive.

The use of the belt, combined with an induction motor, contributes to the durability of this air compressor, drastically reducing the number of revolutions of the cylinder head, increasing its life and reducing wear.

The grid protection serves to prevent the drive belt and the transmission from being damaged by external objects that might hit it during operation. It also allows the status of the drive belt to be continuously checked.
