PowerMax 1800/42 electric lawn mower

The Gardena Powermax 1800/42 is a hand-pushed electric lawn mower equipped with centralised cutting height adjustment and innovative ergonomic and foldable handlebar.

The 33 cm blade makes this lawn mower suitable for small gardens, to work in total comfort without having to use any fuel.

The Gardena Powermax 1800/42 lawn mower is powered by a 1800W electric motor and provided with adjustable blade in 3 different cutting positions, from 20 mm to 60 mm.
Ideal for mowing the lawn without the bulk and weight of a petrol engine.

Sturdy housing made of reinforced polypropylene (ABS) 45 cm wide.

The convenient transporting handle, placed on the upper part of the machine, ensures great comfort.

It is recommended for mowing surfaces up to 500 s.q. m. and it is provided with a 42 cm cutting width.

WARNING: the electric cable is not included in the purchase, this accessory can be purchased separately.

3 Cutting systems

The machine is a traditional 3 in 1 lawn mower, equipped with rear discharge and grass collection system.

Traditional GRASS COLLECTION SYSTEM: 45 L grass collector.

REAR DISCHARGE SYSTEM:
This system allows mowing without using the grass collector, discharging the grass clippings directly from the back of the lawn mower.

MULCHING CUTTING SYSTEM

It allows cutting the grass without collecting it and finely crushing the grass clippings leaving them on the lawn and making them a fertilezer for the soil.

MULCHING CUTTING SYSTEM:

This system allows cutting grass without catching it inside the collector, and crushing the clippings into a fine powder before dropping them on the lawn.

The specific mulching blade supplied ensures highest performance for this type of cutting system, at the same level of the lawn mowers specifically designed for the mulching cutting system.

How to convert the lawn mower for the mulching cutting system:

Open the grass collector
Enter the mulching plug supplied
Lower the rear deflector to operate the mulching cutting system.

MAIN SPECIFICATIONS OF THE MULCHING CUTTING SYSTEM:
This grass mowing system allows crushing grass clippings and dropping them on the ground. The resulting grass particles are so small, they will be barely noticeable on the lawn. This eliminates the problem of its disposal (reducing any effort and shortening the time-saving). Moreover, grass clippings will break down into nutrients and water for the lawn (grass is 80% water) and will thus ensure a perfectly balanced biological cycle. However, it is worth remembering that, to ensure the greatest mulching results, the lawn should be irrigated and the grass needs cutting at least once a week.
