The Gardena 900B cutting axe is designed for high performance and ease of use when cutting fresh and resinous wood.
Thanks to the fibreglass-reinforced polyamide (PA) handle, this tool combines light weight and strength, ensuring high impact force without fatiguing the user.
The ergonomic handle with soft non-slip inserts ensures high comfort during use, while the curved end of the handle prevents accidental slipping, improving grip and safety.
The design of the cutting head, with optimised geometry, allows a precise and clean cut, ideal for working with fresh wood. The carbon steel blade has a special PTFE coating that improves penetration into the woods while reducing friction. The balance point it positioned close to the head for better weight distribution.
The hammer function is particularly suitable for use with plastic, wood or aluminium splitting wedges, thanks to a special milled area on the head. However, use with steel wedges is not recommended, to avoid damage to the blade.
With a total weight of 0.9 kg and a length of 34 cm, the Gardena 900B axe is easy to handle and ideal for precision work and limbing small trees. The axe head, on the other hand, weight 0.7 kg.
