Instead of allowing the battery to fully discharge and thus risking an unrecoverable discharge, the battery is maintained at maximum level using trickle charging.
The trickle charge does not stress the battery cells and prolongs working life, preventing an expensive replacement.
Einhell battery charger can also be used as a starter using the emergency start mode, delivering a starting current of 100 A (max. 5 seconds). After briefly charging the capacitor, the battery charger can supply the current to immediately start the motor - similar to a jump-start with a second vehicle.
