The Einhell CE-BC 1 M is a microprocessor-controlled battery charger suitable for a wide variety of vehicle batteries.
The charge maintenance function protects the battery and preserves it for a long time by maintaining an optimal charge level.
Therefore, the CE-BC 1 M is particularly suitable for all types of vehicles and, in particular, for seasonal-use vehicles subject to long periods of inactivity; instead of allowing the battery to discharge completely with the consequent risk of deep discharge, the battery charge is maintained at its optimum level by means of a trickle charge. Trickle charging reduces the strain on the battery cells and extends the life of the battery, avoiding the need to replace the vehicle battery, an expensive and otherwise necessary operation.
The multi-stage charging cycle is controlled and monitored by a microprocessor and charging is optimised to help prolong battery life. The adjustment between 6 V and 12 V batteries is selected by push-button and is suitable for vehicles that are
not used for extended periods: the trickle charge function constantly maintains the optimum charge. Equipped with IP65 type protection, the
charger has electronic protection against overload, short-circuit and pole-changing. The terminals are completely insulated.
