This equipment is used to remove plumage from most poultry, and it is suitable for chickens, guineafowl, turkeys, geese and ducks.
It operates by inserting a screwdriver/drill into the hole provided, which is then connected to the roller, and the activation of the screwdriver/drill causes the roller to start moving.
Next, simply wet the poultry to be plucked and pass it over the rollers.
The animals should be immersed in a temperature-controlled tank (max. 60/70°) so that the plumage is easily released.
The roller plucker machine is composed by:
- DIT AST support rod;
- DIT CR RU protective casing with drill locking system and support rod attachment;
- interchangeable stainless steel plucking roller, optionally large roller DIT RU08 or small roller DIT RU 06, depending on the type of bird.
