Prongs

The rakes are made of pure carbon and perform a characteristic double side-to-side motion.

The rakes swing in a right-to-left motion, which allows for a wider collecting radius. This special swinging motion reduces to minimum the vibrations transferred to the operator.

Amazing advantages:

  • greater harvesting capacity of each prong, i.e. greater separation of the olives
  • collection capacity exceeding 50 %

The Campagnola Icarus is one of the battery-powered harvesters with the highest hourly harvesting capacity. Unlike all harvesters on the market, there is no specific technique of use for the Icarus. It can be used like a rake on well pruned and loose plants.

On the other hand, it can be inserted and extracted repeatedly from the foliage in unpruned and very dense plants (which do not allow the machines to rake through).

The advantage is an exceptional ability to penetrate into foliage, thanks to the scattered front, and very deep thanks to the exceptional length of the prongs.

200 cm Fixed Carbon Pole

The most important features to consider when choosing a carbon pole instead of an aluminium one are:

  • Higher sturdiness;
  • More rigidity, thus higher control;
  • It weighs 300 grams less than its aluminium counterpart;

The length of this pole is the ideal configuration of this olive harvester, because the motor is mounted at the end of the pole.

It is great with shorter olive trees, we advise to grip the pole at the middle to maintain a 50%-50% weight balance (just like in the diagram above) making it even more handy to use.

The rotating pole for electrical equipment is 100% made of Carbon, thus resulting robust and extremely light.

The Campagnola ICARUS V1 ECO PLUG-IN is fitted with a 325 W brush motor placed in the head of the machine

The machine can be powered either by a 12V lead-acid car battery (not included), with a consumption of 8 Ah, or by a Campagnola Plug-in 21.6V lithium battery.

The Campagnola ICARUS V1 ECO PLUG-IN features 9 carbon harvesting prongs on the head.

The 36 cm long prongs allow deep access into the plant.
