Campagnola Alice STAR ECO - 150-220 cm Carbon Pole - Electric Olive Harvester

The Alice STAR ECO harvester, developed by Campagnola, adapts to different varieties of cultivars and olive growing techniques, both in the plains and in the hills. This tool works effectively on properly pruned olive trees and those with dense vegetation, without distinction.

Alice's design aims at versatility, trying to ensure good results in various work contexts, with attention to the integrity of plants and fruits.

The positioning of the engine in the lower part of the rod ensures the Alice STAR ECO harvester a balance and practicality in use.

The model includes an ultra-lightweight carbon rod, adjustable between 150 and 220 cm, with a total weight of 2.6 kg.

Alice is equipped with a carbon telescopic pole, offering several operational options.

The most important features to consider when choosing a carbon pole instead of an aluminium one are:

• Higher sturdiness;
• More rigidity, thus higher control;
• It weighs 300 grams less than the aluminium ones;

The length of this pole is the ideal configuration of this olive harvester, because the motor is mounted at the end of the pole.

Excellent in case of lower olive trees, we recommend holding the pole in the middle to keep the weight balance at 50-50, making it even more manageable to use

The rotating pole for electrical equipment is 100% made of Carbon, thus resulting robust and extremely light.

Typical and exclusive DUAL MOTION: while combs swing from right to left, at the same time, the single prongs move in opposite rotary direction creating an ellipse of 8 x 7 cm that enables a wider collection radius. This special swinging and rotating motion reduces to minimum the vibrations transferred to the operator.

• Bigger working radius of the 2 rakes. In fact, as they rotate they alternately approach and recede at high speed, reaching a considerable distance from each other on the receding phase, thanks also to the exceptional length of the teeth themselves. This reduces the frequency of movement of the rakes and their repositioning within the crown.

The Campagnola Alice is by far the electric olive harvester with the highest hourly collection capacity. It can be used on well pruned and thin plants, or it can be introduced into and extracted repeatedly from not pruned and very thick plants (that do not allow the machine to slide through).

The head of this harvester, despite its large size, weighs only 1300 grams. The weight of the olive harvesters head, which can be found still today on the market, with the engine mounted on it weighs around 1800g.

The transmission in the head (without engine) is very slim and lightweight, virtually with a non-existent footprint. It offers a total manoeuvrability inside the foliage. Super-strong thanks to the construction of 2 cruises with very high resistance.

The combs are made of sturdy thermoplastic RESIN of exceptional flexibility combined with extraordinary resistance.

The harvesting is carried out with very long prongs alternating with shorter ones.

The advantage is that the machine can easily penetrate between the branches, thanks to the more sparse front, but can also go deep thanks to the exceptional length of the prongs, which, compared to other olive harvesters with combs on the market, are longer. The prongs are individually interchangeable one by one in case of accidental breakage (we supply 4 spare prongs as standard with the machine)

ADVANTAGES of the rake with long and short teeth:

• Better ability to penetrate the foliage.
• Higher respect of the tree and lower breakage of branches and leaves compared to other olive harvesters with the same length prongs.
• It can work on any type of olive, from the big table olives to the smaller ones and more difficult to detach, given the reduced distance between the short prongs and the long ones.

The motor at the end of the pole gives this harvester exceptional balancing, which means less fatigue during use.
Today, however, 99% of harvesters on the market have still the motor mounted on the head: easier and more affordable solution that makes the harvester extremely unbalanced in weights and very tiring to use.

Do not forget that in most cases the harvester is gripped at the bottom of the pole, and if the weight is all concentrated above, it becomes really heavy to handle and certainly impossible to use for a whole day.

In choosing a harvester it is wrong to consider only the total weight in the evaluation of user comfort.

The user comfort is given not by the total weight but from balancing weights, and then by mounting the engine at the bottom of the pole

It generates, despite the considerable size of rakes, up to 1200 rotations per minute.

Support base with cable grommet. It ensures total protection of the extension cable and the engine connection plug. Both in the working phase, when the cable is constantly being pulled, and in the other phase when the machine is resting vertically on the ground.
