Campagnola Alice STAR 58 PLUS olive harvester is intended for any type of cultivation and breeding, even for olive trees ready for mechanical harvesting. For this reason, it is suitable both for well pruned and thick trees placed on level grounds or hills. Designed to adapt to every working situation, it guarantees maximum results while respecting the integrity of the plant and fruit.

The great new development that the Campagnola company wanted to bring is the new motor of the 58V line: it becomes compatible not only with the other harvester heads (Hercules and Holly) also with all the other products in the same range.

The engine at the bottom of the shaft gives the harvester exceptional balance, which translates into less fatigue during use

Thanks to a 12-58V transformer inside the machine, it is possible to use a simple battery (12V car type) to fully exploit the entire 58V power supply.

Nowadays, however, 99% of olive harvesters on the market still mount the engine on the head, next to the rakes, the easiest and cheapest solution (because mechanically it is simpler), but that makes the harvester extremely unbalanced in weight and very tiring to use

It is important to remember that in most cases the harvester is gripped at the bottom of a pole, and if the weight is concentrated above all, it becomes really heavy to handle and certainly impossible to use a whole day.

That is why when choosing a harvester one should not only consider the total weight, as this alone is not an indication of comfort of use, especially for those harvesters that mount the engine on the head, where 80% of their weight concentrates. The comfort of use arises not from the total weight but from the weight balance And then from mounting the engine at the end of the pole.

• position I: the combs perform 1080 rotations per minute

The rakes are made of extra-flexible thermoplastic resin and have a characteristic and exclusive DOUBLE MOVEMENT.

While combs swing from right to left, at the same time, the single prongs move in the opposite direction, creating an 8X7 cm ellipse that allows a larger collecting radius. This special swinging motion reduces to minimum the vibrations transferred to the operator.

• breakage of the almost non-existent twigs (while the only horizontal movement right-left of the competition being very violent creates the detachment of many twigs)
• Drastically reduced vibrations (thanks to the two counter-rotating motions that counterbalance each other, lowering the vibration level).
• Bigger working radius of the 2 rakes. In fact, as they rotate they alternately approach and recede at high speed, reaching a considerable distance from each other on the receding phase, thanks also to the exceptional length of the teeth themselves. This reduces the frequency of movement of the rakes and their repositioning within the crown.

The Campagnola Alice is the battery-powered olive harvester with the highest hourly collection capacity. Unlike all harvesters on the market, there is no specific technique of use for the Alice. It can be used like a comb on well pruned and thin plants.

On the other hand, it can be inserted and extracted repeatedly from the foliage in unpruned and very dense plants (which do not allow the machines to comb through).

The harvesting is carried out with very long prongs alternating with shorter ones.

The advantage is that the machine can easily penetrate between the branches, thanks to the more sparse front, but can also go deep thanks to the exceptional length of the prongs, which, compared to other olive harvesters with combs on the market, are longer.

New, very light aluminium telescopic pole (longer than the previous models) equipped with quick fixing.

WARNING: The length of this pole is the ideal configuration of this olive harvester, because the engine is mounted at the end of the pole. Perfect for use with shorter olive trees, we recommend to grip the pole from the middle to maintain a weight balance of 50%-50% (see diagram above) making its operation even more comfortable.

Professional-type interlocking socket. Support base with cable passage eyelet. It ensures total protection of the extension cable and the engine connection plug. Both in the working phase, when the cable is constantly being pulled, and in the other phase, when the machine is resting vertically on the ground.

The weight of the olive harvesters head, which can be found still today on the market, with the motor mounted on it weighs around 1800g.

Equipped with the innovative PSS (Power Saving System), an automatic device that slows down the combs when they are not in contact with the plant, while accelerating them back to working speed as soon as they are reintroduced into the fronds.

This guarantees considerable energy savings (lower battery consumption) and less wear and tear on mechanical components.
