The brand-new Blackstone ES-1800 hand-pushed lawn scarifier and raker is an essential machinery for keeping your green space always clean and aerated.
It is powered by a 1800W electric motor.

It is equipped with rotor with blades and springs:
The rotor with 20 blades scarifies the soil, acting vertically and deeply thanks to its blades, improving oxygenation, drainage and nutrient uptake.
Why use a lawn scarifier:
- Over time, turfs tend to create a layer of felt that prevent the oxygenation of the soil with the consequent suffering of the lawn.
- It is advisable to use the lawn scarifier to remove the felt layer and create grooves on the ground that will facilitate contact with air, fertilisation and lawn reinforcement.
The rotor with springs combs the lawn, removing the layer of felt and moss that has formed and preventing regrowth.
The machine features a 40 cm cutting width. The rotor ensures an efficient and safe working.
The machine is provided with 5 different working depth positions from - 12 mm to 6 mm.
This model is equipped with a 55 L collection bag.
WARNING:
Before the aeration process the garden MUST BE STRICTLY abundantly watered, in order to prevent dust from entering inside the electric motor and cause damage. Furthermore, damp soil is much softer and facilitates this type of work, preventing problems with the transmission (belts, pulleys, etc.)
* The right time for this operation is Spring, after the first mowing and depending on the area and climate (generally around March/April). For a perfect lawn care, it is highly recommended to repeat the operation even in the autumnal season in order to remove the hardest moss.
