The Blackstone DSP 180 L petrol chipper shredder allows efficient shredding of branches, brushwood, and fronds, making them easily manageable and suitable for composting.
The machine is equipped with a wide-opening steel hopper, designed to receive bulky branches without the need for pre-processing. The reinforced structure ensures durability over time and resistance to impacts. The hopper's capacity allows for the simultaneous introduction of large quantities of material, optimizing work times. The opening also facilitates the feeding of branched fronds or material with abundant foliage.
The maximum cutting diameter is 120 mm. This value allows use on large-calibre branches, typical of seasonal pruning or intensive thinning operations. The cutting system is sized to maintain high operating speeds even on fresh and fibrous material.
The chipper features a frame with ergonomic handles and high-smoothness pneumatic wheels, which facilitate movement on any terrain. This configuration reduces the physical effort required and improves manoeuvrability, even in agricultural or forestry contexts.
The Loncin 420 cc (15 HP) engine, a single-cylinder 4-stroke type, ensures constant power, mechanical reliability, and long operational autonomy. The machine complies with CE safety regulations, with a safety device installed on the grinding chamber opening.
Distinctive features of the chipper:
-
Large steel hopper: receives bulky branches without pre-processing. Durable and with large loading capacity.
-
Cutting diameter up to 120 mm: suitable for processing thick branches. Maintains high performance on hard material.
-
Loncin 420 cc (15HP) engine: high power, long autonomy, and great reliability in agricultural and forestry fields.
-
Mobile structure with wheels and handles: simplifies transport on any terrain. Improves usability in professional contexts.
-
Integrated safety system: protects the operator from accidental openings. Complies with CE work directives.
Warning: Like all chipper shredders, it is not suitable for grinding grass, leaves, pine needles, etc. (it is made for shredding branches, but can grind leaves, needles, and other vegetation that may be attached to them)
NOT SUITABLE FOR SMALL AND INCONSISTENT BRANCHES, ESPECIALLY OLIVE BRANCHES!
Main usage prescriptions for all chipper shredders on the market:
- The chipper shredder must grind branches recently cut from the tree, not dry (they would limit its shredding capacity and cause rapid blade deterioration);
- Branches should preferably be long, regular, and not knotty (otherwise the cutting diameter is reduced);
- The declared cutting diameter is the maximum, so in use, it represents the exception and not the rule. In such cases, consider purchasing a chipper shredder with a larger cutting diameter;
- The cutting diameter can vary based on the wood's consistency (for example, oak, olive, plum, peach are very hard woods and can reduce the cutting capacity of chipper shredders)
