The Blackstone CSB150E-L shredder is suitable for reducing brush and twigs to a size that is easy to handle and suitable for composting. Shredding the material also reduces the time it takes to decompose.
This is a petrol-powered shredder that delivers good results in terms of cutting, speed and reliability.
The Blackstone CSB150E-L petrol-powered shredder is equipped with a double hopper.
The main hopper is primarily intended for bulky branches, as well as general green material or small twigs.
Main hopper branch inlet dimensions: 18.5x15.5 cm.
It is large and can accommodate high volumes and quantities of material at the same time.
Machine equipped with electric start with key.
The secondary hopper of the Blackstone CSB150E-L shredder can only be used with branches up to a maximum diameter of 102 mm.
The Blackstone CSB150E-L shredder is equipped with a 420cc, 13 BHP Loncin combustion engine. The cutting mechanism is equipped with 2 blades, 10 hammers and 10 knives.
The structure of the machine is made entirely of steel, with the exception of the tool box that comes with the shredder.
2 blades + 10 knives - 10 hammers
We do not recommend shredding grass and leaves alone, i.e. without twigs, as this shredder is not self-feeding.
Please note: Like all shredders and wood chippers, it is not suitable for shredding grass, leaves, pine needles, etc. (it is designed to shred branches, but can also shred leaves, needles and other vegetation that may be attached to them).
Main requirements for use for all shredders on the market:
The shredder must shred branches that have been recently cut from the tree and are not dry (dry branches would limit its shredding capacity and cause rapid deterioration of the blades).
- Branches should preferably be long, regular in shape and not knotty (otherwise the cutting diameter is reduced).
The stated cutting diameter is the maximum, so it represents the exception rather than the rule in use. In this case, consider purchasing a shredder with a larger cutting diameter;
- The cutting diameter may vary depending on the consistency of the wood (for example, oak, olive, plum and peach are very hard woods and can reduce the cutting capacity of shredders).
