The Blackstone BSFC 1600 BSE model is equipped with electric safety devices in compliance with the CE standards.

It is powered by the high-quality Briggs & Stratton (GX2100 420cc) engine.

The Blackstone BSFC 1600 BSE garden shredder is specifically intended for shredding branches and large-sized diameter logs (100 mm). It is ideal for those who need to take care of their greenery and remove and / or grind quickly and efficiently their biodegradable waste from the ground.

The Blackstone BSFC 1600 BSE garden shredder is equipped with the following features:

Warning: Like all wood chippers and garden shredders, it is not suited for shredding grass, leaves, pine needles, etc. (it is intended to shred branches, but it can also grind leaves, needles and others)

Garden shredders intended use:
- The wood chipper must grind only green branches and not dried ones (which would limit its shredding capacity and lead to quick deterioration of the blades);
- The branches must be preferably long, smooth and not knobby (otherwise the cutting diameter would be reduced);
- The branch cutting diameter indicated is the maximum, so it is advised not to shred larger branches. In this case, it would be better to purchase a shredder with a larger branch cutting diameter;
- The cutting diameter can vary according to the amounts of wood (e.g: oak, olive, plum and peach are hardwood and can reduce the cutting capacity of the wood chipper);

The garden shredder is powered by a powerful Briggs & Stratton XR2100 4-stroke air-cooled engine 420 cc, with overhead valves and aluminium cylinder.

This heavy-duty garden shredder provided with self-feeding roller, is operated by a hydraulic pump, for automatically drawing branches and vegetable waste into the hopper.

Wood anti-clogging system: in case the rotor gets over-stressed or stops while processing the wood, the Operator has to move the lever on the hopper (red round lever). Indeed, this lever acts on the motor hydraulic valves and reverses the rotor rotation direction unlocking it.

Possibility to adjust the roller rotating speed.

WARNING: the machine comes without oil. It needs approx. 4 L of SAE 46 hydraulic oil.

The machine is equipped with a large steel hopper, 66 cm wide and 66 cm high, able to process even very bulky branches and leaves, without having to pre-shred them. Thus, it also features a higher capacity that allows entering a large amount of material at a time.

Brand-new E-STOP system. In case of emergency, press the red alarm button above the hopper; this will immediately stop the self-feeding rollers (regardless the position of the control bar) and the engine.

The rotor consists of a steel disk.

This rotor is therefore one of the sturdiest and largest rotors on the market.

Equipped with 2 large shredding blades. They pre-shred the wood into the hopper reducing it in coarse wood chips.

Counter-blade: by acting as a counter-blade to the 2 main blades, it operates a scissor effect at the first cut of the branch fed into the hopper, providing an extremely efficient cut.

Equipped with 10 hardened steel shredding hammers (or blades) rotating at high speed. Thanks to their centrifugal motion they shred the branches in small wood chips.

Provided with 360° rotating discharge chute.

Simply unscrew the bolts placed in the joint ring and move it as desired.

The height of the discharge chute allows it to discharge the wood chips directly into the tractor or lorry trailer.

The inclination of the discharge chute is also adjustable in order to control the distance of the discharged shredded material.

This double belt drive with reinforced belt gives the machine an extraordinary sturdiness, protecting both the multiplier and the internal shredding rotor from any kind of internal shock or kickback.

Higher durability over time compared to the standard system of all the manufacturers of the engine as machineries, as the transmission is directly connected to the shredding cutting system.

The front support stand is very large and provides stability to the machine. This allows distributing the weight over a greater surface area, thus preventing the garden shredder sinking into soft grounds.
