FIAC air compressors are regarded as among the best air compressors on the market.

Electric three-phase air compressor equipped with belt drive. This solution offers numerous advantages over a direct drive, the main one being that it maintains a low number of revolutions of the pumping cylinder head, significantly increasing its duration while reducing wear. The degree of professionalism and more generally the life of the air compressor is largely determined by the number of revolutions per minute of the cylinder head.

A low revolutions number means low wear and longer life of the air compressor. The reduction ratio of the number of revolutions is obtained by the pulleys of different diameter that are fitted to the motor and to the cylinder head respectively.

The air compressor is equipped with a pressure adjusting knob of the output air pressure which can be checked by means of a pressure gauge placed just below it, combined with 2 outlets.

The pressure switch, placed next to it, automatically reactivates the air compressor as soon as the pressure drops below a certain threshold.

It includes a single on/off button, a safety valve, that activates in case of excessive pressure in the tank, and the tank air pressure gauge.

Belt drive

These FIAC air compressors feature a belt drive.

The use of the belt, combined with an induction motor, contributes to the durability of this air compressor, drastically reducing the number of revolutions of the cylinder head, increasing its life and reducing wear.

The grid protection serves to prevent the drive belt and the transmission from being damaged by external objects that might hit it during operation. It also allows the status of the drive belt to be continuously checked.
