The choice of purchasing a tractor ripper is often linked to the size of the plot of land to till. In fact, the ripper is an engine that, linked to an appropriate tractor, enables the soil tillage(subsoiling or scarification) in a fast and effective way.
The subsoiling is often alternated with the working of rotary tillers (operating a reshuffling of the deepest layers of the soil), both to save time and to carry out a technique aimed at preserving the fertility of the soil. In fact, the scarification enables a deep cracking of the soil so creating a long lasting macroporosity and a good level of crumbling. This working technique enables to structure the soil so enhancing an optimal drainage and the good development of the root system of the plants.
Thanks to the less driving force used by a ripper with respect to the one of a plough, it is able at working an almost double surface in the same quantity of time with respect to the rotary tillers. The function of the tractor ripper is especially effective in solid and dry soils so enabling a good crumbling. In fact, thanks to its working the soil is scratched up on the surface and marked by a series of small rows.
Its special working creates a very low or (even does not create at all) an alteration of the layers so obtaining a good macroporosity of the soil. On the surface it is just scratched up and marked by small rows.
In this category you find rippers with a steady tubular frame with two or three bars, with working width from 200 to 300 cm and from 5 to 7 tines. All AgirEuro Super-Pro Line machines are equipped with security shear bolts on each tine, reversible and replaceable plowshares, pair of small wheels and ripper points.
