Our catalogue offers a wide selection of heavy series tractor-mounted flail mowers equipped with fixed three-point hitch and provided with standard drive shaft. These are the most robust models included in our offer. Equipped with double skin frame able to withstand the toughest working conditions and the heaviest use, even in the presence of stones.
They are excellent at shredding grass of any height, pulverising it very finely thanks to the double row of special counter-knives placed in the underbody which intersect very closely with the teeth of the rotating hammers during machine use. Thanks to these special toothed hammers with a mass of 2.2 kg, these large sized rear stalk choppers can also shred wood and undergrowth of large diameters on a continuous basis. These tools are also perfectly suitable for shredding corn and straw stalks on open field crops.
Heavy series tractor shredders come with standard rear clamps (or collection rods) that perform the function of a rack by retaining all the vine shoots or residues not ground from the stalk chopper, in such a way that the rotating hammers (which are close to these clamps) can recover these residues and reintroduce them in the grinding cycle, so that there is no final residue of material not shredded by the machine.
This range of stalk choppers is also equipped with an openable rear door mounted on sturdy hinges, very useful for machine maintenance, tool replacement, or simple internal cleaning. In addition, to ensure stabilisation on the ground, these tractor flail mowers are already supplied as standard with adjustable rear support rollers (with a diameter of 190 mm) and side skids
