GeoTech LFM 115 tractor flail mower

The light size horizontal drum flail mower for tractor of LFM series is ideal for light runners, grass and small bushes.

Suggested for hobby purposes.

Fixed linkage, 3 drive belts and rear roller.

Attention: The machine is shipped ready for use and with the correct oil levels. Once all parts have been assembled, check the tightness of the bolts.
Read the instruction manual carefully before starting the machine.

Machine suitable for very light work, only on grass or on small branches (max. diameter 2 cm). It is recommended to use it with low power tractors (as indicated in the technical data sheet) and on well levelled and stone-free ground. If used on land that is not perfectly levelled and with stones, the impact of the cutting tools with bumps in the ground or with stones may damage the machine (as it belongs to a light range of machines).

Cutting tools: hammer flails

Nr. of hammer flails on standard equipment: 16

Flails are fixed by means of a sturdy 12 mm diameter 90 mm long bolt made of hardened steel.

Focus on the drum's hammer flails.

It finely crushes grass and runners while rolling the lawn. Thanks to the high rotor's rotations and the high number of flails, it reduces the soil wave effect and have a perfect crushing function.

It works by unthreading the anchor bolt, move to the side the flail mower of about 11 cm.

This allows you to work near the obstacles avoding hitting them with the tractor's tyres.

Side belt transmission and gearbox

Oil-bath gearbox. Monocoque shell, hardened steel inner gears. Equipped with lubricated extension.

Free wheel device (or overrunning clutch) integrated with the gearbox; this assures long life to all the machine's moving parts, avoiding recoil that would happen when going from 540 rpm to 0 rpm by allowing the rotor to freely turn until it naturally stops.

3 belts side transmission (the most part of the tractor flail mowers of this weight category are equipped with normal 2 belts transmission).

Focus on the side greaser located on the same transmission's side, easy to reach by means of the proper window.

Gearbox capacity is 0.5 L maximum.

Standard 1 3/8" z6 power take-off PTO (suitable for each model of recently manufactured tractors): whether you are dealing with older tractors, it is recommended to previously check that they provide the same power take-off type featuring the standard right/clockwise rotation.
