This Kit includes the Bahco ASP3740-C45JTC pruning saw, a Bahco ASP-1850G pole, an additional extension of the Bahco 1850 pole and a handy zippered carrying bag.

The Bahco ASP3740-C45JTC pruning saw on modular pole is a semi-professional saw, perfect for carrying out pruning works on vineyards, olive groves and orchards but also for gardening, tree-climbing, forestry.

The modular pole, which is split into two different sections, is made of aluminium, which makes it light and well-balanced, perfect and safe for work at height from the ground. The lower coated section allows a good grip and control. Thus, the reinforced cap at the end of the pole prevents breakage in case of accidental falls.

The pole can be used individually or with the addition of one or two ASP 1850 sections to achieve the desired height.

The telescopic pole is adjustable and ranges from a minimum of 187 cm to a maximum of 370 cm (maximum reachable height from 5.2 to 5.5 m).

The blade mounted on this pruning saw model, just like all the others of 390 up to 450 mm length, feature greater thickness in order to ensure that the flexibility of the blade is well-proportioned and balanced to the length and type of application.

The concave grinding and the specific position and sharpening of the teeth decrease by 50% the cellular destruction of the wood, allowing a clean cut and a fast healing of the plant.

The tip of the blade is hooked to prevent it from slipping out of the groove.

The pulse hardening used for this blade is a special high frequency heating technique whereby the teeth are heated instantly and hardened.

Thanks to this process it is possible to localize the hardening only on the teeth while the rest of the blade maintains the normal flexibility of the steel.
