The Ma.Ri.Na. Systems MX 5500 3V self-propelled petrol lawn mower is designed for the most demanding customers who need and extremely reliable and high-performing machine.

It is equipped with a STAINLESS steel housing and a Yamaha MA190 engine with a real power of 6.5 Hp. The Ma.Ri.Na. Systems lawn mower is powerful, reliable and safe thanks to the BBC system: this device allows you to operate or stop the blade while the engine is running and it is a security system which allows overcoming bumpy stretches or emptying the grass collector without shutting down the engine.

Optimised wheel drive thanks to the 3 gears that can be selected directly from the handy gear selector on the handlebar.

This lawn mower is equipped with a 51 cm cutting width and can be also adjusted by means a centralised lever in 5 different positions, from 20 mm to 80 mm.

This lawn mower is equipped with a high-wheel system with galvanised metal wheels. The wheels, with a diameter of 200 -280 mm, are mounted on ball bearings and they are perfect for medium-sized uneven areas.

The rubber-coated handlebar id equipped with a micrometric device for adjusting the handlebar height. By means two side quick levers (open and close) it is possible to adjust the handlebar height according to the Operator’s needs.

The Ma.Ri.Na. Systems MX 5500 3V BBC lawn mower is equipped with 5 cutting height adjustments, from 20 mm to 80 mm.

The centralised cutting height adjustment is incredibly fast and intuitive.

Simply operate the proper lever to lift the machine from 20 mm to 80 mm.

GRASS COLLECTION SYSTEM:

The lawn mower is equipped with a 60 L hybrid grass collector, very easy to remove and empty.

The lower part is made of plastic, which gives strength and sturdiness, avoiding the canvas to tear if in contact with the lawn.

Convenient handle placed on the upper part of the grass collector to make it easy to remove and empty when full.

Grass collector full level indicator: the red switch rises when the grass collector is full.

REAR DISCHARGE SYSTEM:

This system allows mowing grass without using the grass collector, discharging the grass clippings directly from the back of the lawn mower.

Simply remove the grass collector and the rear discharge will automatically operate.

MULCHING CUTTING SYSTEM:

This system allows cutting grass without catching it inside the collector, and crushing the clippings into a fine powder before dropping them on the lawn.

Immediate conversion: you will just need to pull out the grass collector, enter the standard-supplied mulching plug, and lower the rear deflector in order to engage the mulching system.

MAIN SPECIFICATIONS OF THE MULCHING CUTTING SYSTEM:
This grass mowing system allows crushing grass clippings and dropping them on the ground. The resulting grass particles are so small, they will be barely noticeable on the lawn. This eliminates the problem of its disposal (reducing any effort and shortening the time-saving). Moreover, grass clippings will break down into nutrients and water for the lawn (grass is 80% water) and will thus ensure a perfectly balanced biological cycle. However, it is worth remembering that, to ensure the greatest mulching results, the lawn should be irrigated and the grass needs cutting at least once a week.

SIDE DISCHARGE SYSTEM:

This system allows mowing grass without collecting the clippings inside the grass collector (it is also possible to collect grass a bit higher than normal, due to the high disposal capacity of the side discharge deflector).

Leaving the mulching plug entered, in order not to occlude the rear discharge of the grass, simply lift the black cover on the housing side and enter the side deflector supplied with a simple gesture.

It is possible to adjust the forward speed thanks to the heavy-duty 3 gears selector and the blade rotation selector: two different knobs allow you to adjust both the forwarding speed of the lawn mower and the blade rotation speed.
