HERCULES is the olive harvester that Campagnola has designed for heavy-duty use on large-sized tree or with thick foliage.

This olive shaker ranks at the top of the range of electric or 2-stroke olive harvesters for its great collection capacity in hillside or lowland cultivations.

Designed to fit any work situation, it ensures the best results in absolute respect of the integrity of the plant and the fruit.

The harvesters in this range are equipped with a heavy-duty induction motor, compatible with all other models of the 58 line.

Among the innovations that Campagnola introduced in this product is the replacement of switches with soft touch keys and the presence of interlocking connections instead of screw-type ones.

In this configuration, the harvester is combined with 180-270 cm carbon telescopic pole.

The most important features to consider when choosing a carbon pole instead of an aluminium one are:

• Higher sturdiness;
• More rigidity means higher control;
• 300 g less heavy than the aluminium one;

The length of this pole is the ideal configuration of this olive harvester, because the motor is mounted at the end of the pole.

Perfect for use with shorter olive trees, we recommend to grip the pole from the middle to maintain a weight balance of 50%-50% (just like shown in the upper diagram) making its operation even more comfortable.

The rotating pole for electrical equipment is 100% made of Carbon, which makes it both sturdy and extremely lightweight.

The head of this olive harvester consist of the transmission unit and the prongs support.

The engine is placed at the end of the pole for better weight balance.

The harvester is supplied with 2 sets of prongs:

• A set of 9 30 cm super-flexible technopolymer prongs (in blue colour) allows gentle shaking and harvesting without damaging the plant.
• A set of 9 20 cm carbon prongs (in black colour) allows a more powerful and energetic harvesting action to be able to detach olives even on thicker foliage.

The possibility of making use of 2 different types of prongs ensures a higher performance and versatility compared to other Campagnola harvester models in terms of collection capacity and penetration into the plant foliage.

The transmission on the head unit, where the prongs are mounted, causes it to perform short elliptical side oscillations (left and right from the initial position), which are very fast.

The advantages of this technique are: a reduced number of vibrations produced and olive detachment perpendicular to the ground.

Very flexible prongs

The motor located at the end of the pole gives this olive harvester exceptional balancing, which translates into less fatigue during use.
However, 99% of harvesters on the market today still feature the motor mounted on the head: which is an easier and more affordable solution but makes the harvester extremely unbalanced, heavy and very tiring to use.

It is important to remember that in most cases the harvester is operated at the bottom of a pole, and if the weight is all concentrated at the top, it becomes really heavy to handle and certainly impossible to use for a whole day.

That is why when choosing a harvester one should not only consider the total weight, as this alone is not an indication of comfort of use.

The comfort of use stems not from the total weight but from balancing weights, achieved by mounting the motor at the bottom of the pole.

It generates, despite the considerable size of rakes, 1080 beats per minute with the first speed and up to 1150 strokes per minute in the fastest mode.
