This Privacy Notice describes how AgriEuro protects your privacy in compliance with the obligations pursuant to the Italian Law Decree 196/2003 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”).
The data collection and retention is based on the principles of correctness, lawfulness and transparency in accordance with the above specified legislation.
This Privacy Policy describes how AgriEuro collects your personal information through websites, devices, products, services, and applications.

Categories of customer personal data collected by the Data Controller.

Personal data is collected to allow ecommerce transaction, as well as to constantly improve the service, all to satisfy your needs.

Data received directly:

The Data Controller retains any data you provide to us, within the website activities, in relation to services offered and purchases made. You may, at your own discretion, choose not to provide certain data but, if you do, you should be aware that you may not be able to make use of many of our services at full capacity.

This category of data includes:

  • Personal information: (e.g., first and last name, applicable VAT, shipping address, email address etc) used for registration, joining our newsletter program, purchasing our products, access our pre- and after-sales services.
  • Data regarding your interests and preferences: collected through filling out our questionnaires voluntarily and used to define, with your consent, your personal profile.
  • Videos concerning products: The Data Controller frequently receives from site users and customers of our web domains, tutorial videos regarding products, assembly, demonstrations of use etc. which, after being moderated and edited by the Data Controller’s employees, are posted on Agrieuro’s social channels. This category of data includes:

  • Information collected through our website: When you access our site, sign up, make purchases, and use our services, the Data Controller automatically collects and stores certain categories of information, such as preferences expressed while browsing, or choices and interests shown towards specific categories of products and services. Some data will be used to save some of your settings (e.g., the language of the site) and thus make your browsing easier; others will be used to define, with your consent, your personal profile, with the aim of sending you advertising matching your interest, as it is in line with the preferences expressed.

Purposes of personal information collected.

The Data Controller uses your personal data to carry out, provide and improve the services offered.

  • Sales and delivery of products and services. Data are collected for the purpose of receiving and processing orders, providing services and products, as well as providing helpdesk assistance in reference to orders placed, products, services and promotional offers.
  • Provide and improve services. The data are collected to analyze activities, suggest new features, correct and improve the use and efficiency of our services, in order to provide assistance even in the after-sales phase.
  • Tips and recommendations. Data obtained from monitoring your browsing on the site, interests you show in specific products or services, orders you place, and information you voluntarily provide to us through our questionnaires will be used to define your personal profile. Establishing your profile will allow us to recommend products, features and services that may be of interest to you, in order to identify your preferences and personalize the services we offer. AgriEuro Premium. The retention of personal data is covered in the “personalized advertising” section of this policy. The retention will last until termination of the Agrieuro Premium program, subject to your right to restrict Agrieuro from using your personal data at any time. If you don’t access your Agrieuro account for an extended period, it may result in the deletion of your account and termination of such retention.

Personalized advertising. The data that has contributed to the creation of your personal profile is processed to show you specific interest-defined advertising related to features, products and services that you may enjoy.

Your email address will be associated with your list of purchases and other information related to your use of the Agrieuro platform to send newsletters in order to keep you up to date with the latest Agrieuro srl’s promotions and upcoming events. The legal basis for the processing is your consent (Art. 6 § 1 lett. a GDPR). You may revoke the consent given at any time by writing to the Data Controller. Withdrawal of consent will result in the receipt of commercial communications not tailored to your personal traits.

Only data from the past 6 months (purchases and other customer behavior) will be used from time to time for the customization of commercial communications.

Your data may be disclosed to third parties such as technology service providers, but always and only for the pursuit of Agrieuro’s purposes stated above.
In case of a breach of your data, you can always file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority based in Rome.

The Data Controller may use the e-mail details, provided by the party concerned, in the context of a previous sale of its products/services, for direct sales purposes, provided that the products/services are similar to those being sold and there is no refusal of such use, either initially or in subsequent communications by the subject concerned. Therefore, the party concerned at the time of data collection and/or when each communication is sent by the owner, may object to the retention of data at any time.

Newsletter. If you subscribe to our Newsletter, we use the data strictly necessary and instrumental for this purpose, or the data you have separately disclosed, to send you our e-mail newsletter on a regular basis based on your consent.

You may unsubscribe from it at any time, either by sending a message to the contacts provided in the last section of this policy, or through a special link found in each Newsletter. After unsubscribing, we will delete your email address from our data archive, unless you have given explicit consent for further use of your data, you have been properly informed about this option within the policy, according to active regulations.

Prevention of fraud and credit-related risks. Data are also collected for the purpose of preventing and detecting fraud and abuse in order to protect your safety as well.

Fulfilling legal obligations. In some cases, we are required by law to collect your personal data.

The retention of data is performed in order to enforce pre-contractual and/or contractual obligations, the pursuit of a legitimate interest of the Data Controller, the fulfillment of legal obligations, and the consent of the party concerned where required.

Transfer of data to third parties. The Data Controller, given the importance of your privacy rights, does not intend to transfer the data to third parties.

As the concerned party, you have the right to request from the Data Controller to access, update, and delete your personal data, as well as the possibility to exercise the right to portability of your personal data to another Data Controller.

Withdrawal of consent
In the event that the data collection, including of special data, is based on consent (on Article 6(1)(a) of the Regulation, or on Article 9(2)(a) of the Regulation), it is Your right to withdraw such consent at any time, this will not affect the data collected before the revoked consent.

Claim
You have the right to submit a claim to the Data Protection Authority.

Personal data retention period

Your personal information is collected and retained by the Data Controller to enable you to use the services offered on an ongoing basis for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. For example, by storing the history of transactions made and shipments requested, we enable you to monitor your purchase and post-purchase and thus improve and facilitate the use of our services. Some of the data will be retained for a period exceeding the terms of the sales contract according to the following criteria:

  • within the terms established by current domestic fiscal regulations
  • within the period necessary for the waiver of, if existing, lawsuits. In any case, the maximum data retention period is estimated around ten years from the termination of the contract

Minors and services: The Data Controller

The Data Controller does not sell products to minors. If you are under 18, you may use the Services only by involving a parent or guardian.

The User is deemed solely responsible for any use, conducted on their behalf, of their login and password, and shall be liable for any damage caused to AGRIEURO as a result of improper or unauthorized use thereof. In the event of the unauthorized use of the login and/or password by third parties, regardless of how it occurred, the User undertakes to promptly notify AGRIEURO. The User is therefore required to diligently protect their login and password, keeping them confidential and refraining from disclosing them to third-party. Access to the Service requires the User’s acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions. The User acknowledges and agrees that AGRIEURO assumes no responsibility regarding the use and availability of the aforementioned Service.
